Happy New Year’s eve✨
I believe in the Japanese notion of “ichigo ichie/一期一会”- once in a lifetime encounter, which is the base of Japanese tea ceremonies.
In the same way, I am so grateful of all the warm encounters here at Instagram… so much appreciation and happy thoughts I will need to express in a separate occasion.

Tea time at shop at Toraya, one of the most very traditional wagashi shop where I’m completely in love with (established in 1586)✨
Usually you’re served only one of these sweet confectioneries before the thick matcha tea, like espresso- but I let myself choose three😌😋✨
All with sweet bean paste in the center / around- Toraya’s sweetness is just so fine✨✨
These sweets are only available for two weeks, and we have to wait another year to taste😳

あっという間に大晦日です、皆様は年越しそばは召し上がるのでしょうか😋？
先日の鶴屋吉信さんの投稿で、和菓子をいっぺんに２個選べるのは”大人の特権”と最高に優しいお言葉を頂き、そうかそうかと、昨日はとらやさんで３個選んでしまいました😌☝️✌️✨オーダーの際は恥ずかしいような、清々しいような☺️笑
これまた昨年、素敵な方に教えていただき、花びら餅は”元々は、食べる｢雑煮」であり、手の平に平たい餅、その上に具を載せて挟んで食べたのが最初＆素手で掴んで頂いてもよろしい”ということで、自信を持ってはむっといただきました。しかもリアルお雑煮と合わせて花びら餅をオーダーしたことも、”喜びを重ねるということで”と😂💝
こんな風に、Instagramでご縁をいただいた方に色々と教えていただいたり、気付きや勇気を頂いたりして、日々豊かな気持ちで過ごせること、感謝ばかりです。
