With such unexpected & delightful chance, I had a wonderful evening with Sayaka-san, an amazing Japanese lady I met through Instagram (@biphase_kitchen)
I am so amazed with the most sophisticated and beautiful culinary works she realizes with her creative team Balbosté (@balboste_paris).
I enjoyed every moment of the conversation… It’s so exciting and inspiring to see how passionate & positive mind leads to wonderful paths.
Start of some incredibly unique project would also have extraordinary players and origins…
And a bit aside, it was so funny how we find similar characteristics of French culture – through our shared Japanese sense.
She kindly asked me for my request, and introduced me to an authentic French restaurant, where the food and atmosphere had all its charms and warmth.
The restaurant had much seemingly more local visitors – I wonder how a tourist should find such nice cozy restaurants…
On the way out, we noticed “Yozakura” – Sakura (cherry blossom) in the evening sky. Such a serendipity in Paris!

あまりに素敵なポジティブパワーみなぎるお話に、刺激というよりも圧倒＆大感動。
人生はドラマチック＆何事もトライあってこそ、ということをガツンと教えて頂いた気がします。
フランスっぽいものが食べたいというリクエストに、どんぴしゃすぎる、ぬくもりのあるレストランをご紹介頂きました。
そう、、まさにこういうレストランに来たかったのです…！
こじんまりとして、店内に入った瞬間におちつく香りが広がって、店員さんが気さくで、その土地の人たちが通う感じの。
どのお料理もとてもおいしくて、一皿ずつに合わせたワインのペアリングもとても楽しかったです。
最後、子牛の煮込みに泡だったのが新鮮でびっくりでした😮✨
帰り道、ふとパリの夜桜に気づきびっくり＆大喜び✨
たくさんのセレンディピティを感じる夜でした。
