French Cakes And Patisserie and etc… this will be my last post around Paris trip.
I just really enjoyed everything about Paris, but some points I especially hope to remember & share.
– Love for French pastries
They are sophisticated in looks, even from bakeries. How beautiful!! They are so fine & lighter – I could enjoy one or two every morning as a breakfast (of course… daily swimming to resume in Singapore).
-Casual & delicious dinner
I really feel that French food is marriage with wines, so natural that I would order some glass even if solo. The steak was so delicious with super lemony sauce – only downside was that I had severe stomatitis back then… but oh wells. The potato puree was another wow here. How mashed/pureed potatoes are so so delicious in France!
-Good Wine & Good Cheese
I missed dinner this day- but found a nice wine bar, and enjoyed a plate of nice cheese & baguette & several glasses of wine. How deliciousness of cheese is elevated with wines (I enjoyed a glass of red, César (Moulin de Lène) the most). Wine is such a culture!
-Virtual reality tour, “Eternelle Notre-Dame”
Immersive VR expedition… I had almost no experience & interestet for VR, but since my friend strongly recommended we should try- we did. And it was so so wonderful. How VR would capture the once-beautiful cathedral, from its building- history – and how it is being rebuilt, through fascinating scale of atomosphere. I really am wowed with how France is taking its wonderful approach to rebuild this cathedral as a project. This is such a wonderful way to engage with culture & technologies..✨
[Japanese]パリの、夢のように美しすぎるケーキたち＆エトセトラ
パリは素敵すぎて、写真がまだまだ余っているのですが、本投稿を最後にします。
・毎朝のケーキコレクション。パン屋さんのケーキですら、かなり繊細で、ヘビーさなくかなりペロッといただけてしまいます。
・爽やかなレモンソースのステーキ＆とってもなめらかでスープのようなポテトピューレなど。前菜の生ハムブッラータ、すごい量でびっくりでした。
・ディナーを食べ損ねてしまいうろうろしていたところ、素敵なワインバーに。チーズの盛り合わせ（もれなくバゲット付き）＆グラスワインを数杯。こういう夜もあってよいな、と嬉しくなりました。
・ノートルダムのバーチャルリアリティーツアー。全く興味がなかったものの、友人の強烈なお誘いで訪れることに。ノートルダムの建設された当初の様子や、今どのように再建されているかを、驚くべき臨場感あふれるVRで追体験することができます。思いのほか最高すぎて。。最先端技術＆文化は表裏一体なんだなと感じたりです。
